You have the wrong blue wire connected.
Your power antenna wire is hooked to the amp remote wire and vice versa.
Your radio thinks the tuner is off - and is dropping the signal thru the power antenna wire - and turning off your amplifer.
Switch the 2 blue wires in your install - and you'll be all set.

Ok...I have an Alpine CDE-9845 and i wish to play my ipod by using an aux cord but i have no clue where to plug it in at

Hello,

You will first need an audio cable that has a 3.5mm male end on both sides of the cable.

You will plug in one end into your mp3 player, and the other end into the 3.5mm audio jack on the front of your cd player. On rare occasions its on the back of the cd player.

Then instead of putting your cd player on the radio, or cd, the other option will be Aux. Start your mp3 player up and you should be able to hear it on your car audio system.

This is the standard setup for running an mp3 player through your car stereo. Thank you for choosing Fixya!

AUX to work

Hello alex_maya21,

The AUX input on your CDE-9845 is on the back of the receiver. To use it, you need a cable with the appropriate connectors on each end. The receiver end needs to be a standard "mini plug" and the device end needs to match the output connector on your mp3 or iPod. There are many commercially available cables that you can plug in and run the device end under the dash to a convenient location. Almost any car audio retailer will have the correct cable or you can order one online from www.crutchfield.com.

Hope this helps.
