If there is no slot for a screwdriver or cross point screwdriver, then, yes, it will be secured from the outside of the oven.
It will mean removing the rear panel, and possibly the top as well.
Hope this helps.

Just moved and have diplomat built in single elec oven checked inside but cant find model or serial no. 2 knobs on left all symbols gone some push buttons middle and knob on right numbered 1 to 5

Hello -

Please double check for the model number. It will probably be on a small metal plaque on an edge of the oven door, along the outer edge of the oven opening, or in the oven interior. It could also be on the top of the oven and covered by cabinetry.

Undo the screws that hold the oven in and slide it out 6 inches. You may then find the metal plaque on the top of the oven. You may need the help of another person when you try to pull the oven out, so that the oven does not tilt forward and fall to the floor.

You MAY be able to identify your model of Diplomat oven from one of the images of Diplomat oven control panels here:
https://manuall.co.uk/diplomat-select-620-oven/
Page 6 (PDF document image 7). Note: Use the + icon to enlarge the image.

You may find the image of Diplomat oven knob markings here helpful:
https://www.ukwhitegoods.co.uk/forums/forum/public-support-forums/help-and-support/cooker-and-oven-forum/61498-diplomat-adp4890
Scroll down that page to the post dated 14-12-14 from pslewis333 to see the image.

Once you know which model of Diplomat oven you have, you may be able to find and purchase decals with the proper knob markings for your oven so that you can affix the decals around your oven knobs. Or, you could use heat resistant paint and a small, pointed paint brush to paint the markings on your oven. With either option, I suggest you seal the markings with a heat resistant clear sealant so that cleaning / scrubbing will not erase the markings.

Best wishes.

How do i replace the element in the bottom oven of an AEG U3100-4 cooker ?

If it is a fan assisted oven, remove the screws securing the rear cover inside the oven compartment, remove cover, and you should see the oven element there.
Undo the element, and fit new one.

Hi, I have a diplomat double fan assisted oven and the element in the fan oven has gone, the bolts which hold the element in however, have a really shallow head on them and when I try to use a spanner or...

If you cannot remove the screws from inside the oven, then there is really no alternative than to to remove them from the out side of the oven compartment.
If it is built in, this will entail removing irt from the oven hosing, and removing the rear panel of oven, to gain accessw to the element securing screws.

Diplomat integrated oven- 13amp?

You need to get an electrician to wire it in to a 30amp cooker outlet. It is 30amp rather than 13amp (like most sockets). It should go to its own fuse in the fuebox

Baumatic fan assisted oven not heating up

The oven element has failed, you need to fit a new element.
It is a straight forward repair to do.
Remove inner rear panel of oven, you will see the round element at rear.
Unfasten element, detach wires, and fit new element.
Refit rear panel, and test.
Plz rate my solution.
Thanks.

Replacing the element in a diplomat 5706 cooker

Hi.
You will probably have to remove the rear panel of the oven, this is on the outside that I am referring to, and you will see the 2 securing scews for the element, you might have to push the insulation to one side to see the screws.
This should solve your problem.
Please good feedback if this helps.
Thanks.

Diplomat Oven ADP3650 Instructions

User manuals are hard to find.
The problem I had was setting the clock on a single Diplomat oven, with no clock button. Here's my solution :

DIPLOMAT OVEN OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
The Diplomat single oven is controlled by two knobs and a set of buttons along the middle of the control panel.
The left knob sets the temperature of the oven, while the right knob selects the function to be performed, e.g. fan oven, grill, etc.
The buttons along the middle set the cooker clock, the start and end times of cooking, and the “+” and “-“ buttons will increase or decrease the time shown on the cooker’s clock.
PLEASE NOTE THAT THE OVEN WILL NOT OPERATE UNTIL THE CLOCK IS SET.
If there is any interruption to the power supply (including manually switching off at the main switch) the oven will not operate until the clock is reset.
Here’s how to set the clock:
First press simultaneously the first two buttons to the left of the control panel. They are marked as a Bell symbol (Alarm) , and a steaming Cooking Pot (Start of Cooking Time). Then immediately press the plus “+” or minus “-“ buttons to increase or decrease the time displayed. When the desired time has been reached, leave it for a few seconds, and it will remain set at this time. Any further changes to the displayed time will require this procedure to be repeated.
Hope this helps!
