How do i recharge my mouse batteries i have a cradle but the sign keeps saying batteries need recharging

It does take rechargeable batteries. Remove the back and change batteries for Ni-cad or similar rechargeable batteries. Trying to recharge normal batteries is dangerous. Any rechargeable make of battery will normally work and they recharge when phone is in cradle

Has it got a housing? If not, then you'll need to open it and either recharge (if rechargeable) or replace the batteries.

There rechargeable batteries don't last forever. It's possible it will need changing.I recently had to renew the battery in my MX Revoulution.

On the Top on the Mouse u can see the Battery u need to Remove the old Battery's and Replace with New battery see that you use Rechargeable battery because ordinary battery life spam is very less and u need to change the batterys for every 1 month so if u use the rechargeable battery then u need not change battery for 1 month at least for 5 or 6 months the rechargeable battery work and u can keep and spare rechargeable battery when every needed and try to purchase a Sony Rechargeable batterys

Gina, I've had my Logitech ce 0682 for years and have had some similar problems. The mouse is supposed to rest in the cradle and recharge the batteries, but I've noticed that it rarely works for me. The connectors on the mouse seem to scuff and corrode easily and I'm sure that degrades its ability to charge batteries. So my solution was to buy a 4 pack of rayovac rechargable batteries(AA) and a usb battery charger. I never put my mouse in the cradle now and keep 2 batteries recharging at all times so I always have fresh batteries when that pesky red light comes up telling me the batteries are dying. As far as your highlighting text problem. Sorry don't have a solution on that one.

Without knowing how long you have been using the mouse it's hard to say. But, my first guess would be that it is time to change the battery. Rechargeable batteries don't last forever.

Two things: 1) This mouse and charger does not like rechargeables larger than 1800mAH. The light on the front will(sometimes) go red if you use a higher rated battery than the 1800mAH. You said you replaced the batteries, but might want to check their rating. 2) My mouse gets harder and harder to get a good connection when putting it in the cradle. Might be the contacts are getting dirty. When you put it in the charger, you should see the optical beam (red on the back) go out and the green light on the front turn on. If this doesn't happen, it isn't connected.

You do have the cradle plugged in and the batteries installed the right direction in the mouse? I know it's obvious, but the questions always have to be asked.

try replacing batteries by newones,since they are ni-cd type,they do have limited no.of charge/recharge cycles and tend to lose performance with time.
