No sound on my video Kodak M340....

I found this information on Amazon regarding the camera and it makes sense but I haven't tried it. Since the camera has a microphone it can record sound but there is no speaker so you can't hear anything during playback on the camera. You have to upload your videos to a computer (with speakers) to actually hear the recorded sounds.

the camera itself does not have a speaker, but it records audio and you can hear it on the computer.

The best way to download pictures from your camera to your computer involves removing the memory card from the camera and plugging it into a card reader (either built-in to the computer or connected via USB or FireWire). This is likely to be faster than connecting the camera to the computer, and won't run down your camera's batteries.

Once the card is plugged in, it will appear to your computer as a removable drive. You can use the operating system's drag&drop facility to copy pictures from the card to the computer's hard drive.

I think you can use your usb cable that came with the camera or you can remove the memory card and insert it into the slot on your computer.

Get yourself a card reader and use it to download your pics.

If it can be of any help I did manage to find information on how can I eliminate noise during video recording on the Zi8:
Turn off Continuous AF (auto focus) to prevent recording camera noise during video capture. When you turn off Continuous AF, you may notice a narrower area of focus or depth of field, especially if you zoomed to a telephoto position before recording.

1. Turn the Mode dial to Video, then press the Menu button.
2. Highlight the Continuous AF menu, then press the OK button.
3. Highlight Off or Single AF (certain models), then press the OK button. (On is the default.)
4. Press the Menu button to turn off the menu screen.

This setting remains until you change it, change the Mode dial, or turn off the camera.

About your problem actually C913 has no speaker On It., It has a Microphone for you to record a sounds., Now if you want to hear your video sounds you need to transffer or upload it on your computer then play the video using the computer., Unfortunately all of the C-series camera of kodak has no Speaker., Gudluck!
