take out batt hold * & # place batt on and power up once logo comes up release * n # and it will take u to service screen then follow command or just turn off

settings> options > edit > when you get to this part press the arrow to go to the right and it leaves you on a screen that you can change all of the image settings including the external screen saver. I hope that made sense

Best thing to do is call tech support through customer service from another phone or take it to your local store. First try removing the battery and then replace it and power back up. While doing this check for liquid damage (usually a white round, sometimes square sticker). If it is red or pink you have liquid damage but if not, it is probably a manufacture issue.

Either your flex cable is broken or came loose. Is the top left hinge button still intact? Is it loose at the hinge? You will need a Torx 4 screwdriver to take the LCD screen apart to check the flex cable inside.

by the way, have you tried turning it on with your charger? anyway, you don't need to do that, you should return it.

I lost my display on 30th april 2007 without a hint. Have been using the phone for nearly 1 1/2 years without any problem. The battery seems to be not so strong, shall try with the battery cleaning etc. Is this a standard problem with the MOTOROLLA V3? Cheers Bevanie
