We're happy to help you with getting your DISH Network remote addressed to your TV. We're going to start by pressing and holding the TV button on the top of your remote until all mode button back lights come on, and then release. Use the number buttons to enter the codes for your Vizio TV; here are some of the codes we currently have: 505, 598, 627, 520, and 627. Press the pound (#) button to save the code in your remote. To check that the code works try several different functions on the remote to make sure it will properly operate the TV. Remember that some codes may not be compatible with your equipment. If this is the case, try the other codes listed for your Vizio TV until you find one that is compatible with it.

Cannot program a Direct TV remote to a Vizio TV

You'll need to either call them and have them walk through programming the remote to the TV or visit their website for the information. Here at DISH Network, we have instructions on our website with instructions on how to program our remotes to TVs. I hope this helps.

Hello, Matt Gonzales with DISH Network here. The codes to program a 3.0 remote to a Vizio tv are 505, 627 and 671. You may try the code on this screen to see if it will work. I have also provided a link with instructions on programming your DISH remote to other components.

Hi there! This is Kimberly Escobar with Dish Network. Just ran across your post and wanted to help. In order to get the remote to possibly work the Inputs on your T.V the remote needs to be programmed to your Vizio T.V. In order to do this we have certain codes that can be integrated into the remote. Some of the codes for a Vizio T.V are 505, 671, and 627. The procedure is press and hold the clear T.V buttton located at the top of your remote until you see all the other buttons light up in red, once they are lid up enter one of your codes followed by the pound key for example: 505#. The T.V button should light up 3 times you can then try the remote to see if it works your T.V

Unfortunately we cannot promise it will completely function the T.V so it might bu that input button does not work. If you need any help please contact us directly at 1800-333-DISH.

You need to contact dish network to get a manual for remote control. Each TV brand has one or more codes that will allow you to power TV on or off, and adjust volume. Since Dish Network uses a specific remote to operate that particular receiver you will need them to either send out a technician to program for your TV, or send you a new remote that has a manual. Allowing you to do the setup yourself..Good Luck
