How do i unlock the forgotten bios password

Try this:

As the computer is booting press F1, F2, or Del to enter CMOS setup.
In CMOS setup when prompted for a password, guess three times until you're giving the code. If after entering the wrong password three times the computer is displaying a 5 to 8 code, as shown in the picture, continue to the next step.
Write down the code and visit Dogbert's BIOS Password Backdoors scripts page to download Python and the free Python scripts to clear many of these types of passwords.

So this is asking for a password at boot up?? Sounds like the Admin/System password is enabled.

Try this:

Sadly there is no easy fix for this, you will be presented with a pass request code when you have tried and failed to enter the correct pass? This requires a response code, which you need to get from HP

No BIOS start! "Password=" ?????

Try the following
(1) Go to start menu in the Windows
(2)Click run in Windows XP or click on (Search Programs and Files box) on Vista or 7
(3) In the open run box or the above stated field for Vista or 7 type cmd
(4)Type cd\
(5)On c: prompt type the following code

DEBUG hit enter
-o 70 2e hit enter
-o 71 ff hit enter
-q hit enter
exit hit enter
This should clear the BIOS password.

enter wrong password 3 time if u get a code send me that code ill send u master password if i could not help dont angry let me know ill find another way.. Thanks

It sounds like you are prompted to enter bios password. Call dell tech support and they will generate unlosk code for you.

I found this on the internet about clearing your HP BIOS password. You download a file called "unlock6.zip" from the following url location, using the Free User tab (click on Free User to start download). This is a zip file with a word document and the .exe file. This is how it says to use it:

How to Use:

If the notebook you are servicing has an unknown password, follow these steps to clear the password. These steps also clear CMOS:

1. Enter an incorrect password and press enter.
2. Repeat Step 1 two times.
After the third entry of the incorrect password, the notebook responds with a "system Disabled" message and provides an override password.
3. On working computer, access MS/DOS by clicking Start > All Programs > Accessories > Command Prompt.
4. Change directories to C:\Swsetup\Unlock6
5. Enter "unlock6 xxxxx 0", where "xxxxx" is the password generated by the notebook in Step 2.
The notebook responds with another system-generated password.
This password can be used to unlock the notebook and reset the password.
*Detailed usage and support information can be found by reviewing the included “readme.txt” file.

Hi, why don't you remove the password with Windows Password Recovery 6.0? If you can’t remember the windows admin password, try to reset it with a reset disk. Free download Windows Password Recovery 6.0 from and there is a .iso file included. Burn the .ISO file onto a blank CD which is called windows password Recovery disk. With this disk, you can reset the unknown password without erasing anything
