Question about Freezers
I have a Kenmore side by side Model No. 363.9565522. Noticed water dripping out of front of freezer onto floor - this has happened periodically over the lifetime of the side by side. Slid bottom freezer tray out and noticed a sheet of ice on the floor of the freezer. Also noticed ice adjacent to drain hole. I removed all of the ice using hot water, blow dryer, etc. and poured some hot water dow drain hole.
Two weeks later, water is again dripping out of freezer. While removing ice again, I noticed small droplets of water appearing (falling) on the back plastic wall above the trough that leads to the drain plug. Not sure if this was because the freezer door was open or another problem. Removed all the ice last night and again poured hot water down plug.
You can buy a kit from whirlpool. In the kit is a metal tab that mounts onto the defrost heater. It is long enough to go into the hole. When the heater comes on for defrost the heat transfers down to the hole and keeps it from getting plugged up with ice. Part number 819043

Tips for a great answer:
Hello Yellow, thank you for your post!
I understand that your Frigidaire freezer is dripping water out of the corner of the door. It is possible that with your power going out the heat may have caused the gasket to warp. Do you see any frost build-up? The water that is dripping could be coming from condensation within the freezer. I would recommend checking the gasket to see if it is allowing warm air to enter the freezer.
I recommend that you visually inspect the door gasket for defects such as gaps or tears. You can also use a dollar bill to test the door gasket. Place a dollar bill in between the door and the body of the freezer. If the dollar bill pulls out with no to little resistance, you may need to replace the door gasket. A faulty door gasket can allow warm air to enter the compartment and cause frost to condensation or a leak. I hope this information is helpful. -Matt
