If you are the one of genuine RADO watch owners, please follow this link: http://www.rado.com/en/Service/Contact/Pages/NationalHQ.aspx Ask the questions you are interested in. Unfortunately there is no RADO service available online, so, you have to contact them yourself. NOTE: rate me, please, but do not forget that I'm giving just a RADO link, so, if there is nothing useful for you - not my blame. THANKS.

Have Rado 193. am trying to sync analog and digital time. Manual says turning crown slowly adjusts minutes. Does not - only hours change

You can adjust the analogue hands without changing the digital ONLY when you have set the watch to 24hr fornat. Do this by going to the second Timezone screen (T2) and pressing the crown once briefly. If A or P appears, the time display is in 12-hour mode. If no letter appears, the time display is in 24-hour mode. To change mode, press crown briefly a second time.

Now go to the basic display where no digital info is shown. Pull the crown out. Now slow turning will adjust the minutes and fast turning the hours, but only of the hands. Therefore you can synchronize the two. After they show the same time, press the crown back in and adjust both times together using the crown as normal on the standard "Time" digital screen

Take your watch to a Rado dealer who will examine it for you.

You can find your nearest store by going to the Rado web site (Rado.com) and at the bottom of the screen you will see a menu.

Click on "store locator" and fill in your details.

Rado Diastar 196.0387.3 Ceramic No alarm Beep after Battery repla

Most likely, you have lost (or bent) a very tiny spring that is used to complete the circuit.

The piezo plate is bonded to the rear case; a part of the arm that retains the battery reaches up and contacts the rear case when the rear case is attached. The other half of the circuit, from the center-portion of the piezo crystal to the circuit board, is made via a tiny tiny tiny spring. (See a picture of a Casio contact spring doing the same job here.) In the Rado Multis that I have looked at, that spring rests loosely on a "pin" (and is therefore very easy to lose after the back is no longer holding it in place.)

Look for a cutout in the backplate of the watch mechanism, inside which is a gold pin or post that doesn't quite reach past the backplate. There's supposed to be a spring, resting loosely on this post, which (when the back is attached) reaches past the backplate to make contact with the center terminal area of the piezo.

If you're lucky, it's still in there, and bent or something. If it's missing entirely, you'll have to search out a replacement, or a watch repair that has them.

Rado diastar swiss 196-0364-3

I bought the same watch recently and have the same problem. The hours can be adjusted in the dual time zone by looking up the manual, but the minutes stay put. I can't bring them to blink so that these could be adjusted. Any ideas? I sent a mail to Rado through their website but no answer.

I have a Rado DiaStar watch (with digital display), and the hands are out of synch with the digital display. Is there a way of adjusting the hands independently of the display? or must it be sent back to...

Hears how i do my watch, i have the same watch as you.Just make sure nothing is displayed on the clock face by turning the winder, ie NO digital time, NO daul time, NO alarm, NO stop watch etc, Pull out the winder(crown) and adjust the hands to the time you require by spinning the winder.(Gentley for mins and fast for hours) The digital clock will display wilst doing this, but not change the time.handy if you want to sync both clocks.Push the winder back in at the time to sync and the digital display will go out, then spin the winder again if you want to display the digital features. I hope this helps, please post if it does, Maurice Chevalier- Herts
