If your using search for acess point it will find your own acess if you put manual setup it has 99% posibility that the error happens if it says no acces point in range move closer to your computer and it may work if it doesnt it means theres a problem with the telephone line so tell a fixer for the telephone line to help or tell your parents

How can i put internet on dsi

  1. You must either have broadband internet access and a wireless router or you can connect your Nintendo DSi at a hotspot, such as a library or coffee shop that offers internet access. Make sure you are in a location mentioned above before going to step 2.
  2. Turn on your Nintendo DSi and click on the wrench icon. This will take you to the system settings.
  3. Go to page 3 and select "Internet".
  4. Click "Connection Settings".
  5. Click "Connection Settings".
  6. Click "Search for an Access Point".
  7. Look for an access point that has a gold lock that is unlocked. Select that access point and your Nintendo DSi should now be connected.
  8. If you are planning on playing games online with your Nintendo DSi and have WPA security, you will have to set your router to WEP security.
To do this, get back to the "Connection Settings" screen mentioned in step 4.
Click "Advanced Setup".
Click any button that says "none".
Click "Search for an Access Point".
Look for an access point that has a gold lock that is unlocked. Select that access point and your Nintendo DSi should now be connected.

Unable to use your wireless signal

Likely cause: It appears that the settings entered into the Nintendo DS are not compatible, or the router's broadcast settings should be changed.

How to fix: Try creating a new connection with your system. Nintendo DSi owners trying to play multiplayer games will want to be sure to read the "Trying to play online multiplayer with Nintendo DSi."

How can I connect my dsi to the internet

It will then search for wifi signals. If it's protected, you obviously need the key. Anyway, choose one, put in the key and whatnot, and it will then attempt to connect. If it was successful, it will say so. If not, it will tell you and five you an error code. This means some security of the wifi you're trying to use prohibits you from using it. If you are admin for the wifi, you can input the error code in Nintendo.com to find out what to do to open the connection up to allow you. After that, you can access the DSi shop, the Internet after downloading the Browser, or use Internet in games

Im trying to log on to the Internet for the first time using my Nintendo dsi and it wont allow me to do it.

Have you configured the WiFi settings for your DSi? If not, it's an easy process. First you go into your DSi settings menu and scroll over to "Internet". Once there, you will see 3 connection options to choose from. Select an open one and then choose the auto search option. The DSi will search for WiFi hotspots nearby that are accessible. Once it brings up a list, choose one that is either unlocked or one that you know the access key for.

After you choose a connection, the DSi will perform a connection test to make sure it's working. When it's done, it will say "Connection Successful". Go back to the DSi menu and access your Internet Browser or online functions in your game. You should be all set.
