The reverse works fine but green light is not on and shredder does not work. Nothing is hanging in the shredder. Any suggestions?

Unplug it. Lift the shredder unit off the catch-bucket. Remove any paper caught in the blades. You may need needle-nose pliers to pull jammed paper out from between the cutters.

sounds like one of the drive belts have broke thats all but you will have to take it apart to find the problem

Some shredders aren't designed to shred anything more than paper. Credit cards, staples, paper clips and the like could have jammed it up. Try running the shredder in reverse and oiling the blades. More help with paper shredder oil here: http://hubpages.com/hub/Paper-Shredder-Oil

If you can't get the paper shredder up and running, it looks like you might have to pick up a new paper shredder. Paper shredders can be pretty cheap though, great guide to cheap paper shredders here: http://hubpages.com/hub/Best-Paper-Shredders

Does it reverse? Can you hear any motor noise? If it does then try cleaning the upper and lower sensors with cotton swab. If it does not reverse, then remove the top and check for jams or broken gears.

Their are sensors on top and bottom of cutter asm. Good chance one or more are dirty, blocked with paper shreds or just bad. Clean with compressed air and lightly moistened cotton swab.

I have the Infoguard SX100M Axeus, sold by Staples.
Only the reverse was working, UNPLUG and open back cover, the paper mechanical switch was working fine, red side switch, the gears and fuse were all ok, I think something on the circuit board was fried.
Anyways, I switched the BLACK and WHITE wires with each other going to the shredder motor, thus when I switched it to reverse, it would go foward and shred. Its working now, only in reverse.

seems to be an issue with the paper feed sensors i suggest you call Fellowes customer service. 1-800-945-4545

orca 3500: reverse works but auto run does not. Green Light is on, bin is empty but will not shred paper? Any suggestions?
