Yes it can send and receive pictures, you just need to set up the MMS features of this and you need that from your service provider to activate it so you will be able to send and receive pictures....

T-Mobile USA and T-Mobile UK use different WAP and MMS settings - you will probably discover that t-zones doesn't work on the phone either.

The simplest thing to do is go to the T-Mobile USA site and use the OTA configurator to send the correct settings for WAP and MMS to your phone.

Is your internet and text messageing for incomming and outgoing working? If it is you will need to contact your carrier and let them know...they will collect some information from you and send it off to thier engineers to have your issue fixed...it might be something as simple as you need the correct feature or settings on your account adjusted. Also if it's unlocked...there's no guarantee that the internet will work on another carriers network therefore it limits what other features you can use...such as mms (which is one part internet and one part text message). That will get the settings for picture messaging sent directly to your phone

On the left hand side under configure phone it says WAP and MMS settings

To send picture messages it is the MMS settings you need

Click on the MMS and follow the instructions

Goto the samsung mobile below
and click on MMS settings
follow the instructions

That will get the settings for picture messaging sent directly to your phone

contact the original provider and ask them for your unlock code

or simply go to a phone shop and pay approx 5pounds for it to be unlocked

I have the Samsung SGH-X830.  However, the settings for the MMS should be similar since i also have AT&T.
