Hi,
Check whether Audio Driver is installed working properly or not in Device manager by right click on My computer,
if not working properly then pls installed the proper audio driver & then check otherwise check sound on VLC player you can download from filehippo.com.
I hope that this has been very helpful for you
Check whether the sound card drivers are installed properly or not. If installed check in the device manager, go to device manager and navigate to sound and audio devices. Check if the drivers are installed correctly.
I have one HCL Busybee 2000 with windows 98. I have upgraded it to XP Provisional. Now the sound system is not working How can it be rectified. While working windows 98 the system hangs, so the sound disabled. Now how can it be enabled?
Actually the problem is incorrect installation of Drivers.........so firstly uninstall the drivers from ur CONTROL PANEL and re-install it once again...........if the problem is same, then re-install the XP operating system sp2 with different CD serial and then drivers..... CAUTION: see thst there is no virus exists in ur HARD DISK.......
On the desktop or from start menu, right click on "my computer".
Left click once on "manage".
Left click once on "device manager".
If there are and yellow excalamation marks in the device list you
don't have drivers installed for that particular device.
If the audio has exclamation you need to find the driver disc or
download audio drivers from the net.
Also make sure you have the speakers plugged into the green socket at rear of pc and that you dont have audio muted.
