I cannot upload camera pictures directly to the website. On the site there is one Camera icon is displayed which should get highlited to upload image file(s). When we click on this icon we can browse through files and select one. But this icon itself gets disabled. I tried many sites such as Opera to create photo album, etc.

What model of camera is it? If its a SLR like the one pictured, you might have shot the pictures in RAW format. You will need to convert them to a JPEG to upload to Facespace.
In most photo management programs you should have the ability to choose where you put the images when you connect the card for download to your PC. You should be able to right click on an image and there might be a 'Show me Location on Computer' option. This will tell you were it is located in your file structure.
