Recently, laser printer started printing faint lines on pages and there are white lines (streaks) and gradual fading through the print on the right side. There are supposedly built in warnings to replace any consumables, but I have no messages on the printer. Also, troubleshooting in manual is no help.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

If the colors are good and solid with no fades, only black streaks, then black is the culprit. I suggest replacing the black cartridge.

This is a color laser. One thing to note, when I print a wide bar of color down the right hand side of page (yellow, red or blue) the color is solid w/ faint black lines running through it. However, if I change the bar to solid black, there are multiple white lines running through it and it icreases toward the edge of the page, (giving the black bar a fading appearance.)

Toner cartridge wasn't the culprit. Could it be the black PCU?
contact your dealer they have a service bulletin on this issue. they will replace the pcu at no charge.
