Visoneer 7600 and windows vista

Try going to the manufactureres web site and downloading the latest driver for Vista 64bit from their support/download pages

What OS do you have? The manufacturer's web site offers drivers for Windows 98/Me or Win 2000 and XP:

If you have a newer OS, you can try installing the driver in the compatability mode but it may not work.

Please note that the scanner is officially not designed for XP and is not supported by the manufacturer any longer (end-of-life). The supported Operating Systems:

• Windows 2000 / Me / NT 4.0 / 98
• Not Designed for Windows XP

did you install the drivers? they were probably downloaded compressed- you need to look at your download list and install from there. don't know if vista refers to it as install wizard, as xp does, but check that the download was actually opened and installed. otherwise, it's sitting on your hdd doing nothing useful. i'm not familiar with vista, know a lot of people who tried it and switched back to xp. still waiting for the user reports for w7. supposed to be a great improvement on vista! so we wait and watch!
anyway, check out whether your patch for your scanner actually was installed!

cuse they dont suprt vista your gonan have to get new scanner sorry i know it sucks try the xp one sumtimes them work

Hi, Likely, the issue you may be having is a driver problem. First step I would do is check with visioneer to see if your scanner model is compatible with your operating system, your scanner may not work under the latest operating system.
