Question about Dell Dimension 3000 PC Desktop
Based on the information you gave, looks like
(1) Either there is a proxy server set in your browser settings on the desktop. If yes then uncheck it.
(2) Another solution is to copy the same settings as on your laptop to the desktop. Assuming you have Windows installed, go to control panel, network connections. right click on the ethernet adapter --> properties. Select TCP/IP in connection type.Click on properties.
Now here whatever entries you find (which work with AT&T) you need to copy those to desktop too.
You internet should work after this.

Both are wireless connections, My desktop wasn't reading the same as the laptop. However, once I made the changes to mirror what the laptop has, I have "limited or no connectivity". Speed and signal strength are great though.
