You can remove them from the splitter and the focus block. the same leads should come with the new FBT.

Most of the time is soldering around the flyback transfomer and 1 or 2 of the 3 pico fuses next to the FBT transformer is open. Solder the the flyback transformer and check the 3 pico fuses it shp\ould take care of it.
Good luck to you and remember HIGH VOLTAGE can kill!!!! The info is for qualified techs only.

The words on the display are blurry the hole screen seems a little blurry tried contrast and sharpness dose not help

This can be corrected. You will need to use caution. Pull the back cover off. You will see a flyback transformer. You will note, that a suction cup is connected to the back of the picture tube. Follow the red lead and you will see the flyback transfomer. You will also see, two potentiometers on this transformer. The top knob will correct the focus you are talking about. The bottom knob will increase or decrease the voltage to the picture tube. Just work with the top pots. It will say focus on the knob. Turn back and forth as you watch the lettering of an informational program. This will be helpful. Thanks for asking and show all hands of support!

How to get the red wire off the top of the flyback transformer?

Try pushing it in while turning it 90 degrees clockwise and the gently pull. It should release when this it done. I would give it a couple of tries, doesn't allways work on the first time.

If you need any further help please reply to this post.
I hope that this helps you with this issue.

Wires going to flyback transfomer

Wires going into the flyback are not removable but are integral to the flyback. The three wires comming out the flyback are the thick red one (anode button) which attaches to the tube is removed by pinching the button to release the clips on the tube. The other wire probably white is removed by unsoldering it from the small board on the neck of the tube and the 3rd and last wire is probably black, this is the one you may have your issue. To remove this wire, you must disassemble the tube socket..look for two tabs..pry open gently and seperate. Then with a small jewelers you'll be able to release the black wire..hope this helps.

Flyback transformer and horizontal output transistor change out

There is a little loose sleeve at the transformer. It can be pulled out, but it is best to squeeze the sides through hole on each side of the terminal to remove the sleeve. The wire just comes out with a small pull afetr the sleeve is removed. Good luck.

Please help

sorry about that my new email is [email protected] These are some of the hardest cables to remove. the black wire will come out but you have to pull straight up and with some force. with steady force not quick jerck or you can break the wire. the big red wire usally has a clip gromet under the boot slide the rubber boot up the wire. remove this gromet is difficut. i usally break about 75percent of the one i try to remove. some technicians say freeze spray helps..i never use it the groment holds the wire in the hole there are two slots on the side you that push in.. question did the new flyback on the board have a groment..just in case break the old one?

The lead going from the flyback to that other device is a voltage divider or splitter as they're incorrectly referred to... To remove the leads press down firmly, twist and then pull up...
