Brand new out of the box and the bucket didnt fit flush and the shampoo or water not spraying?
Mine was the same lift up the bucket and look at the rubber washer / seal take it off turn it inside out and put it back on.
Wahoo the busket fits the was washes , you have your carpet cleaner back
I had the same problem with mine and it was an easy fix. If you remove the soap holder without putting the selector dial to "water only" you will lose the prime in the hose that goes to the water chamber. It takes a few minutes of pulling the water trigger to regain that prime, but it will come back eventually. Easiest fix, of course, is to always remember to dial to water only when you need to add cleaning solution..
Check to see if water will squirt out of the hose, if it does, then take the handle apart, the heater may be clogged. Once you get to the heater, take off the 2 water lines, dig out the clog, try to blow thru the heater to make sure it is open, then put back together. Otherwise it could be the belt, pump, seal not in place on the bottom of the tank or a clogged water line.
