Is it a twin lens reflex? Very boxy, with two lenses on the front, one above the other? Some on them still sell for good $$ on Ebay, depending on the model and the condition. Clean in good working order can fetch $900 on Ebay. If knobs won't turn easily, and it needs to be cleaned and re-oiled, Somewhat less. But yes, its worth something, depending on model and condition. Its hard to give you anything more that that without knowing more.

Testimonial: "Yes it is a twin lens, very clean and in good condition Thanks for the advice."

Need a Rollei afm35 film chamber door, the catch has snapped off?

These cameras are pretty rare so your chances of finding a spare back are slim, I did a search and found nothing, only 2 new cameras on ebay for more than $1000. A new camera might be your next option. They are made by Fujifilm so thats where I would look next.

Rollei 35A slide projector - halogen lamp problem

Most all projection lamps of 1970 vintage are still available on the internet. There should be a 3-letter code on the lamp. Try using Google to search that lamp code. There are multiple vendors in the USA that have an amazing inventory remaining. Good Luck !! Jim

Hello fellas! I have Rollei digital camera, and when i plug in USB on computer it says Driver wasnt found, it worked on my old PC, help me guys please! Rollei is very good camera and i can't upload...

It sounds like you just need to go to the support site for Rollei and download the compatable driver/software for your new computers operating system.

Here is a link for the new Rollei website. I didn;t see the drivers listed but that usually means you can contact them and they should let you know where to get them. The email below that is for support.

I'm not sure if you can use any other drivers but they should be able to tell you.

Hi, I have a Rollei SLR with a dead light-meter, which I would like repaired. I'm in England, can you suggest anywhere? It's an SL35-M. Thanks!

Getting your meter repaired may be an issue. The SL-35M used a CdS light meter, which nobody really used after the 70's, and they contained toxic cadmium, which has been banned for use in most places, which means these metering cells are no longer manufactured for repair market. They were on the verge of being banned in late '05, so I'd assume by now they're long gone. If you shop around, you may be lucky enough to find some shop to have another Rollei they can scrounge a working meter out of - thats assuming the cell is even the issue (have you checked the battery?).

To venture a guess, I'd look online for shops, since most shops dealing with film cameras and their repair have closed their doors in the last 5-10 years with the propogation of digital. You may have better luck contacting Rollei directly, but who knows. Japan has a HUGE affinity for film and film cameras, so if you're able and willing to ship your camera around the world, and can find someone, that may also be a viable option, again you'll need to look online and try to contact a shop to see what they're able to handle.

Expect anywhere from $125-200US for a meter repair.
