sems like to me you have a convergences problem chedk conveg board and convergence chips and risistor or try replacing it. or try auto convergence. useally when when they are bowed at the top and bottom its the conver board..i hope this will help
model number is located on bottom rear cover, your convergence circuit has failed but without model nobody can give you further info, re-post and we`ll try to help, video-tek
this is an indication of convergence failure. on these model the first suggestion or more like question is this do you have the convergence option in the customer setup menu? If you dont i suggest you read the fl231 problem in the tips and tricks section of this website. If you do and you still have the bow tie three d effect then the next solution is to replace what is known as convergence power supply. note when you start replaceing the boards that effect convergence it may need adjusting that a technician needs to do
You have a convergence problem. The Red and Blue are out of convergence meaning they are out of synch, causing shadows. There should be an Auto convergence option either on the television or through the menu options on the remote. If this doesn't fix your problem, then there's a manual convergence option. Should that fail, a service call is in order. Best of luck!

Go to menu , then go to setup look for convergence in menu if it is not on the menu then fuseFL231 is bad replace ,then convergence should return back on menu press auto convergence and set should be back to normal.
3d pitures are a indication of convergence problem. is the picutre bowed in at top and bottom. DO you have the convergence option under the setup menu.
This is what known as a convergence problem. First question is in your setup menu do you have a convergence option.. if you do then do you have any control in that mode does the crosshars move up and down and side to side... if you dont then you have a convergence power supply issue.. if you do it could be a setup issue. IF you do not have convergence in your setup menu then it possiblely be a special fuse.. and bad electrical connections. so let me know and ill see if we can narrow it down further
Sounds like your convergence chip has gone bad. Usually costs about $300-$400 to fix. I would call a local TV repair shop and let them give you a free estimate.
