Need a download to make my lg viewty compatable to vista so i can download pics etc

    I have Vista Ultimate 64bit and am also having difficulties with locating a driver. When browsing the LG support website whenever I click on the mobile phones link i get nothing but a blank page so I cannot even find out if they DON'T yet support Vista!

    I contacted LG - they said deffo not compatible with Vista and no plans to put a fix in place - so for those of us who have forked out a fortune for the phone and can't get pics/music sorted - NOT HAPPY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :(

Well you will have to fiew the manufactures web page to see if one is aviable,, if they have it you can get it there... If vista automatic updates fails to find a driver, chances are one isnt aviable or recgonisd by microsoft.. If the manufactures web page doesnt have one for vista, then you will need to cantact them and askthem if they have plans to release one..

I am trying to download photo's from my LG viewty to my computer but need driver or disc but there wasnt one with it?

Lg kc550 drivers for vista?
1) On your phone, go to Menu -> Connectivity -> USB -> And change settings to "Data Service"
2) Plug in your phone to your computer and wait for Device Manager to say "Device has been successfully installed."
3) Go to your LG Phone's Software (PC Suite) and connect.

If PC Suite fails to find a phone,
1) Download another PC Suite at: http://www.fullandfree.info/mobile/lg-ku990-viewty-pc-suite-official-v20115/
2) Double check that your USB Driver is installed.

LG KU990 Viewty can't open the contents in the lg pc suite.
HI All,

I had the same problem where i could not access the pictures etc off my viewty using a Vista laptop.
Now, assuming you guys are not bothered about the photo suite software itself, you can set the Viewty up to act as a mass data storage device (i.e. usb dongle etc). This enables you to view the full content of your Viewty, without using the **** LG software..

To do this...

1: Open up "Phone Settings"
2: Select "Connectivity"
3: Select "USB Connection Mode"
4: Select "Mass Storage"
5: Confirm by pressing "Select" at the bottom of the screen.
6: Return to home screen and connect to PC.
7: If PC does not automatically find the data, go to "My Computer" and look for a "Removable Storage Device"

If all goes well, you should have access to all your files!

i,d suggest going to LGs Site. And see if they have a Windows Vista Compatable Device Driver For Download.
Or alternatively view Microsofts website. for Any relevant Patches Or Upgrades/Add ons for Vista.
