I was playing a game when all of a sudden the game went off and the laptop reverted back to the Microsoft XP loading page saying ' in hibernation' and switched off. Everytime I go to switch it on, the battery light on the front just flashes at me. Do I need a new battery?
Ive had it on charge for hours and still I get the same, still wont turn on. The battery flashes a couple of times along with the lightbulb icon light. Thanks anywayIve had it on charge for hours and still I get the same, still wont turn on. The battery flashes a couple of times along with the lightbulb icon light. Thanks anyway

While playing a game, you may have incurred some cost , and if that do not support your profile. means if you never pay for any game, that is considered a suspicious entry and for security reason, FB account is locked. try login from other computer , mobile or tablet and you will know the reason immediately.
Unplug from AC, remove battery, plug into AC, Reboot laptop. Open Control Panel, Power options, Disable Hibernation. Set power to Max or High Performance.
Hibernation mode usually turns the computer off but saves any work. Then you would start it back up by hitting the power button, it will boot up and you log in like normal and the computer should be as it was before it went into hibernation.
If you can't get it out of hibernation by pressing the power button, try holding the power button for 5-10 seconds. The laptop may actually still be on, and holding the power button will cut if off. Once the computer is back on you can change the battery options(hibernation/turn off settings) in Windows by going to the bottom right task bar and right clicking on the battery icon. Normally you will have an option like "power saving settings", "battery settings". In this setting window you can turn off hibernation due to inactivity.
Let me know if you have any questions. Regards, G33k
In most cases this problem comes up by Antivirus program. It checkes running files. To identify the problem try disale antivirus program temporary, start your game and see what happens.
Dear
you have to uninstall the sound driver , by going to device manager , and then uninstall the audio and also uninstall realtek or whatever you have software installed , and then try a new download and install it good
if this didnt work dont be sad i have the best solution but first you have to do this
My computer does this too. Turn off hibernation mode, then restart computer. Go to start menu control panel maintenance/performance or display go to screen saver advanced options power turn off hibernation mode and apply settings, restart pc
Remove the battery and unplug the laptop. Hold the power button down for 10 seconds. Plug it back in, pop in the battery, turn it back on. Let me know if that works.
try to open ur laptop cover .
on the mainboard there is usually a jumper located near the cmos battery. try to change its position for 3 seconds and return it back to its normal position.
this way u will clear the board memory .
start ur computer and load default settings.
hope this will help.
