I was watching my 60 in hitachi t.v when I heard a pop sound then the t.v. went to a black screen with no sound there is a red light on the t.v. that says lamp whats my problem?

Ur tv power supply board is dead.Replaced the power supply board,ur tv power will return,and the tv will work again.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish power supply board for the replacement.
Lamp inside TV is broken and requires replacement. Pop sound was its breaking sound. Lamp replacement procedure is written in user manual, pretty easy. Please buy Sony original lamp for TV safety and avoid aftermarket/ cheap lamp. Let me know if you need to download user manual copy. Thanks.
