I have FL studio 9 and i cant get Absynth 5 to work with it. how would i go about doing so?

An update of some kind, or some file the software uses could have become corrupted.
I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling.
If that doesn't work, part of the security of Absynth is to cause crashing on "illegal" or "cracked" copies of the software.

Im assuming you mean FL STUDIO,..... if so, you can procure a serial number when you purchase the program LEGALLY from their website or a retailer.

I just recently had the same issue and found a way to resolve it.
- Go to the directory where your "tuning" folder should be and make sure it is there, or add it:Library>Application Support>Native Instruments>Absynth 5>Libraries>Tuning
- Open Absynth 5 in standalone mode (by navigating to the app and opening it)- Go to "Preferences" in the Menu- On the "general" tab in absynth prefs there is a "TemplateLibrariesDirectory", click "browse"- Point it to the new "Tuning" folder you created and voila! -Now you can save and access saved tunings...

Make sure it is allowed in firewall and all drivers are downloaded and program is enabled.

I don't know logic but I have it working in Sonar8 - took a while!
problem I had was the ASIO rate in my Saffire 40 - then I set the MIDI-in setting in Sonar to my Yamaha and I have fantastic sounds coming out - can't hear the recordings though, I have lost the audio output ..... this is a hoot though and will be brilliant when I get it all figured.

It means that a sound or plugin that you saved with the file was corrupt, so you will have to scrap the project and start over.
