Unplug, replug tv and satalite box both an hour later. The tv,will reset itself, back to factory.Satalite box should upgrade it softwares.Tv now should have all it colors back. Not,than the Tuner board is dead.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish Tuner board for the replacement.
If you can obtain an external antenna from another IQ3600 user it
will plug into the connecter on the top of the unit and bypass the fold out antenna. I had to buy one because the windshield in my Pont Montanna would block the satalite signals. When I plug in the external antenna I do not have to fold out the antenna on the unit.
That will check to see if the unit is recieving and /or if the fold out
wire is broken. The external antenna is not Garmin specific but the
plug on the end is so another gps antenna with the same end plug works.
1) Try a 'hard reset':
while the power is on, stick a small (tooth/match) stick through the hole
under your unit base and opposite to were the USB connector go, for a
few seconds, remove the pressure on the stick will cause a complete
system reboot if possible.
2) Check the health of your Tomtom One flash drive: connect to the
computer, use Windows Explorer -> Properties -> Tools >
Error-checking to scan and repair any problem.
3) Restore software: using TomTom Home, restore from a previous backup followed by a
device update while connected online.
Hope it helps: let me know how you go and good luck!
If the tv works and its just the sattelite portion of the tv that doesn't work you can alway just use a new sattelite box and connect it to the tv via the rear inputs on the tv and then just select the coresponding input to view the sattelite chanels.
If you have a loose RS12 try moving it around the deck and see if it make a diffrence. There might be something knocking it out.
If it is doing a cold start it cold take up to 10 min to get a fix. Once it has a fix it will aquire the next time much quicker.RS12's are mostly rock solid and get great fixes.
Also set the time up on the A65 to what you are at ,IE, universal time minus 5 if you are on the east coast of the US.Time set up is under the units menu. Hope this helps
