It sounds like you may have dirt/dust/crumbs trapped under your keys. The keyboards on Asus notebooks seem particularly prone to this problem. Turn the computer off and then hold it, while open, so the keyboard is upside down, shake very gently, and tap lightly on the sides. This will help to dislodge any crud that has found its way under your keys. I use this particular solution on my own Asus notebook when I have keyboard problems. Additionally, you could purchase a canister of compressed air, one with the long straw nozzle attachment, and use that to dislodge and remove debris from under the keys.
so press the blue FN key bottom left of keyboard plus the F8 as in no 8 key at the top
some asus laptops have a slide or push wireless key but that is normally on or around the keyboard and it should have a little picture on or beside the key that looks like a little satellite
Hi, Do you hold Fn and f2 together or just f2? if you do two keys together and it doesn't work you have to dowload ACPI fom Asus website and in device manager re-install it.
go to Open Office and download the full suite of software they offer. It will open and produce all MS Office files. It is crazy to open yourself to the legal liability and a legion of viruses/security threats when MS identifies your key as stolen. It takes very little time for Microsoft to tag your software as stolen, so give Open Office a try.
