These radios have a "**** shell" design and the flexible cable has a tendency to break with many cycles of opening and closing. This can lead to "flakey" operation. A repair kit can be had and installed but for a price. The kit is about 25 dollars and labor would be around 25 to 75 dollars.

How to manual tune a station on a panasnoic rx-dt610

This is a reasonably easy method. Turn the unit on and press the 'Tuner' button to turn the radio on. Quickly press and release the + or - button once. The frequency number on the display should move up (+) or down (-) one step. Repeat pressing the button until you get to the station you are looking for.
The size of the step is different depending on which band you are on, FM will be bigger steps compared to LW and MW.

FM frequecy increases/decreases too mugh pr. step

Hi, Your post/description "the frequency increases in steps of .2 Mhz or 200Khz" refers to the increment of frequency spacing between tuning steps and is largely dependent on the radio standards of the country/region the radio is intended to be used. Assuming no hardware fault to the radio, tuning steps may be adjusted by: 1. With the radio switched off, press the Step/Band button for about 2 seconds. This will display the current FM tuning step (200Khz as in your case); 2. With the radio switched off, press the Step/Band button for about 10 seconds. This will display FM and a blinking 50Khz with a single beep sound. By rotating the Tuning Control you can increase or decrease this value. 3. pressing the Step/Band button again will move you to the tuning increments of the AM band again adjustable via the Tuning Control. 4. pressing the Step/Band button again will save the setting and complete the process. Hope this be of some help. Good luck and kind regards.

Cd player works but not radio

No, it uses the same source.
Have you checked which band you are selecting? It has 3 FM bands, LW and MW, right?
It may not be a relay, but an untuned station.
