    ** Thanks it works ** I had the same problem before and now I have solved it by reinstalling the drivers, because might be drivers are not installed properly or installed wrong drivers. Finally I got my printer worked Setps 1. Uninstall the printer drivers by Revo Unistaller Tool, that will uninstall drivers from registry as well. 2. Reinstall the exact drivers. Sort of, they say if you just plug it in, windows 7 has built in drivers, they say " Installing the Product with the USB Cable and Using the Windows Update Driver or the Driver Located in the Windows 7 Operating System"

I can't seem to get the drivers to load for HP 990cxi. I am using Me windows. Thanks
Remove printer from Computer.
Uninstall ALL HP printer software, and drivers.

Try re-installing from scratch.

(Worked for Win98 SE, WinME and WinXP)

(better yet, go back to Win98 SE, or WinXP :) )

My 990cxi deskjet has the orange light flashing and on the PC it says the Printer is out of paper when I try to print a test page although the tray has paper in it!! Any solutions please!!I have already...
there may be cartidge jam please remove cartridge, unplug printer form pc and power for 60secs insert cartridge, then reconect to power and pc

Changing ink cartridges
hi! there might be two possibilities...
1) the device drivers you have installed is corrupt.. try uninstalling n then installing the drivers
2) if that is not working out then your printer must be having some problem.. you may have to get it serviced.
