I need to replace a pickup roller in my 4521f. Are there any instructions available online?

It sounds like the paper pickup roller and separation pad for tray 1 is worn and will need to be replaced. These two parts pickup the paper and weed the pages into the printer. When they get worn down they can grab more than one page at a time. The parts are user replaceable, no need to pay a big repair bill for something like this. The parts come in a kit with rollers and pads for tray 1 and tray 2 along with the instructions and it is available here:

Cleaning the pickup roller will only temporarily delay problem. The pickup roller and separation pad needs to be replaced to correct the multiple paper pickup problem. The roller and separation pad is easy to replace. These parts come in a kit caller RK-1320 the parts kit is available here:

the machine need to be diassembled and the part is availebl from samsung as a new part only!
You can try to find a free computer service station at your home place perhaps they have a used roller and are able to replace it for an smal amount.

If youcan get to the rollers and clean them with an alcohol solution, then this will cut the glaze that forms on the rollers from the talc use to keep the paper separated into sheets. That glaze coats the rollers and prevents the suction action of the neoprene to pick up paper.

You may be having a problem with your paper sensors. You may need to have the printer serviced by a technician to verify. This problem seems to be a regular event with this model.

open the front door and take the cartrige out.
if it jams at the black roller. you must clean the pickup roller.
you will see it at the back of the unit in the center.

Well, how to do that I don't know how to explain you, but first of all try to clean it, do it with thinner, this may solve your problem for while, at least until you find a way to remove and change.
