Power on the TT 910 and then press the Reset Button on the base of the TT. It is a tiny hole with a hidden button. use a rounded object, match end or soft pencil to puch the button. Then reconnect it to the PC and the PC will see the TT. Note that you may have to reload apps and maps depending on the state of the TT.
Yes Chris it can be repaired. I do it all the time. The culprit is usually the negative pin. The negative pin is the gold pin on the far right hand side. With the unit upside down (you can see the contact pins on the board) and the lcd faceing you the negative pin will be on your far right hand side just below the reset hole. Doing it and telling you how to do it are two different matters.
