Sony cyber-shot camera DSC-W270, screen repair

Sony cyber-shot camera DSC-W270, i have done something to the screen, think i have squashed it in my bag and now there is not screen, theres like an ink smudge on it , it still turns on with the light but nothing comes up on the screen but blank white background and smudges of ink..what to do..?

The photo get shaked even though there is steady shot facility available

This camera needs to be sent away forrepairs. Just like a motor vehicle, some repairs to your camera require atechnical specialist to fix your problem.

The lcd screen on my dsc-w270 has cracked and looks like there is ink all over half of the screen. how do i repair this?

LCD screen will be replaced to fix the camera. Novice should not attempt to take apart camera to avoid further damage.
Let me know if you need part number of required lcd screen or take camera in local camera repair shop for fix.

You don't. The DSC-W270 was designed as a camera, to store images (and videos) to a memory card. It was not designed to stream images live to another device.

The region has to be changed to US or UK. It is done with a special Sony adjustment software.

Press the MENU button to bring up the main menu. Use cursor-down to select Settings (toolbox icon) and press * in the center of the cursor pad. Use cursor-up/down to select Main Settings (wrench and hammer icon), press cursor-right, and then *. Select the second item on this menu.

I have a sony cyber-shot dsc-h2 and the shutter button has fallen off. If I can purchase the part is it something that I can repair myself? Sony is charging $16 for the part and $120 for the repair.

I think you have a wrong setting, go into the menu and go through it and it says USB connect or something to do with PAL/NTSB i don't have one in my hand.
