I need a new "Home" adapter to Charge battery and to play DVD's. The unit works fine on the 12 Volt Car battery adapter

Screen is completely black, can see some blur figures but unable to figure out how to see a menu screen to adjust screen. I can tell from pressing menu that the brightness screen is on normal but cannot figure out what else can be done to correct problem.

Don't believe that a charger will help the "blue screen of death". It sounds like you may have either a bad optical assembly, or a defective screen cable...accordianman

I suggest to purchase another brand , PROTRON no longer on the market , it belongs now to SPECTRONIQ,and their customer service is very bad, they will tell you that the BATTERY replacement is out of stock at the moment but its on order , Ive been like this trying to get a replacement for my PROTRON for about 3 years !! AJ
