Creative zen v plus wallpaper display.

Along the right edge of my wallpaper display, I can see another computer screen's display. In other words, I can see the bare bones computer screen underneath my chosen wallpaper. This is only occuring along the right edge of my wallpaper.

Very rare - go ahead and replace it - it cannot be repaired - this is the only case of screen burn-in on an Mp3 that i have ever heard of, but it happens plenty on mid -1990s, early-2000s TV's.LCD monitors of all ages, etc.

Creative zen v plus start up screen freezes when switching on

I had this same exact problem. To solve it I plugged into the computer (if computer doesnt read it its ok ) then pressed the reset button for about 5 seconds. you should see a screen . Then press the play and power buttons on at the same time and you should get a recovery screen. You have three options. from ther you can rebooot and automatically upgrade the firmware after its been downloaded from the creative website. Zen mosaic works fine but screen does not

Go in to Settings, Display Settings and turn up the brightness. Also consider using a lighter theme (also in Display Settings), or uploading a bright picture of your own and then setting that as wallpaper.

No Display

i can help with the computer registering it...

insert zen v plus install cd
exit out of autorun for cd
go to control panel
click on system
click on the hardware tab
click on device manager
click on portable devices
right click on your USB device with the yellow warning sign
go to properties
when it tells you that the drivers arent installed... go to the browse button and select your zen v plus install disk
hit ok and it will find the drivers that way...

as for thedisplay... once you get the computer to recognize its there troubleshoot it.

When the player displays the Creative logo, release the Play button.
It will display the following options:
Clean Up
Scans the player and removes invalid links from its music library.
Does not affect music files themselves.

My creative zen v plus is not detected by my pc when connected its screen has reddish lines neither it is shutting down nor it is working

Using the instructions below try Cleanup first, if that doesn't work... (if you have a backup of all your music on your computer), try the format option


This is from Creative's website:
Zen V Plus and Zen V
  1. Detach your player from the PC if it is connected, and turn off the player.
If the player stops responding, you can reset the player. To reset the player, gently
insert a thin object into the Reset hole located below the power switch.
2. Press and hold the Play button while powering on your player.
3. When the player displays the Creative logo, release the Play button.

It will display the following options:
Clean Up
Scans the player and removes invalid links from its music library.
Does not affect music files themselves.
Format (All) Caution! Erases all content!
Save a copy of your player's content before formatting.
Reload OS/ Firmware Caution! Erases your player's firmware.
DO NOT select the Reload Firmware option unless you have access to a PC and you have downloaded the necessary firmware to install.
Reboot Reboots the device.
