Question about Apple iPhone Smartphone

1 Answer

Our problem is unlike anything I've seen listed here. It has to do with the phone function, not the jazzy software. Our phone transmission cuts in and out when we are at home. People say we are garbled and cannot follow the conversation. Further it seems to do it as long as we are on the local tower. As soon as we pass to another tower the problem goes away. The signal strength shows 5 blips. We have 1) changed the Sim card, and 2) received a new iphone, The problemis still with us. Other people with g3 iphones have no problem in our home. What in the world could it be?

Ok, go to settings. Next, open up general. At the very bottom there is a bar that says reset. Open reset, and and select "Reset Network Settings", then confirm it, and your iPhone will reset. Hopefully work a lot better! :)

I have done that, and i know where to put the belt on the roller but I don't see where to connect it. Do I need to unscrew anything

With the hood off you should see a metal shaft sticking out from the motor about 2" (directly below the handle) this is what turns the brushroller. It should be fairly obvious. I've never seen one break, so thats unlikely. Unless the motor housing melted. It only requires taking off the hood to change a belt on them.

Trying to id an engine, was told was off of a 92 or 93 softail. case id # is AB03S3557 any help would be greatly appreciated

I've never seen an engine number such as this on an original engine. It may be a "crate motor" that was purchased seperately from a frame from Harley or it may be some aftermarket engine. I've never seen a number like that and have no idea as to it's origin or original fitment. Unlike the Twin Cam engines, the Softail engine of that era was the same as the engine in any other model H-D bike. All Evolution engines were the same. The transmissions were different but since the transmission did not bolt directly to the engine, all the engines were alike.

Good Luck

Samsung SGH-T919 screen is not functioning properly... I need help!

It's possible that it's water damage. Usually thats the problem that I've seen when touch screens stop functioning properly. You can check for water damage by taking out the battery. There should be a little white box somewhere on the battery. But if that box is blue, then it is water damage. If you are not comfortable taking apart your phone, I would bring it to your nearest phone provider's store location and ask them to check if its due to water damage.

The good news is that if it ISN'T due to water damage, and it's just a software malfunction, they should replace it for free!

Hope this helped

How do i pair my samsung phone/bluetooth with my 2005 volvo S80

Which phones are compatible with my Volvo?
In the "Find a phone" section on this website, you will find a list of all phones tested with the Volvo Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System. Select a Volvo vehicle and model year and click "Search" to find out more. Telephones will have varying degree of compatibility with the Bluetooth system in your vehicle, functionality is listed on the "Specifications" page. Telephones that are marked "Red" for major calling functions like making, accepting, and ending phone calls are generally not recommended by Volvo.

Will a Bluetooth®-enabled phone that is not on the list work?
If your phone is not on the Volvo-tested phone list, full or limited functions may be available. But since Volvo has not tested the telephone, no indications of whether the Volvo Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone system will operate correctly, or to its fullest capability, can be given.
When will new Bluetooth® phones be listed?
Volvo will continually test new Bluetooth® phones as they become available, and the test results will be published in the "Find a phone" section on this website. Volvo's ambition is to test as many of the most popular telephones as possible but with a special focus on high-end models from the largest telephone manufacturers. Since phone popularity varies significantly between nations, Volvo will not be able to provide testing that covers all the best-selling Bluetooth phones in all markets. For more information please contact your local Volvo dealership.

Why isn't my current Bluetooth® phone listed?
Existing Bluetooth® phones that are not listed are most probably not tested. A non-tested phone may be tested at a later point in time or it may not be tested at all. Because of the high number of new Bluetooth phones being introduced to the marketplace, Volvo will not be able to test all phones. In a few cases, a telephone is not listed because it has not passed Volvo testing. Major calling functions like making, accepting, and ending phone calls did not function properly and/or the Bluetooth connection was not stable.

Why does my Bluetooth® phone have different functionalities than what is indicated in the Volvo test results on this website?
This can happen if you have a different software version in your mobile phone than what was used in the testing of this specific phone. For details, please see the test results on the “Specifications” page in the “Find a phone” section. Please check your phone Owner's Manual for instructions on how to update your phone's software. Your phone can also show different compatibility than indicated by the test results if your Volvo has older Bluetooth® software installed than what was used for testing. Other factors also affect the test results of the Bluetooth system, e.g. functionality may differ depending on what network operator is being used. Therefore, the results can only be seen as an indication of what to expect from the Volvo Bluetooth® Hands-free Phone System.

I think you need to change the main keypad flex cable on your phone. There is a slim chance that it might be the software. But I have seen it many many times that its the keypad flex.
