Need wiring diagram for eyes that control safty device door willnot close by one button push , have to hold button to close , light on opperator has one flash

It could be the garage door motor that is acting up. Try closing it with the button in the garage. If that's not the case, you may need a different garage door opener.

DOES THE DOOR START AND THEN STOP WITH THE LIGHT FLASHING??

IF SO YOUR SAFETY EYES ARE NOT WORKING - YOU CAN CLOSE THE DOOR BY HOLDING DOWN THE WALL BUTTON.

IF THIS WORKS THE PROBLEM IS DEFINATLY IN THE EYES OR WIRING

You have a problem with the safety eyes. Make sure both eyes have a lit Led light, if not realign sensors

steve it sounds like the two eyes are not lined up to communicate with one another and complete the circuit so the door will work. This is a safety feature. Begin by seeing if adjusting the eyes will line them up and tuen on both green lights. Also be sure the wire to each light is still connected.

IF U HAVE TWO EYE,SENSORS ON EACH SIDE OF THE DOOR SEE IF SOMETHING IS BLOCKING THE EYES OR SOETHING IS COVERING THEM, OR THEY ARE OUT OF ALIGNMENT, ONE SHOULD SHOW GREEN, AND ONE RED EYE, GOOD LOCK

Probably a broken wire to one of the sensors. Holding down the wall button overrides the sensors.

If you move the wires at the back of the power unit and at the sensors watch for the sensor lights to flicker. - If they do the wires you just moved are the problem.

If moving the wires doesn't help you will need to trace the wires & watch for a broken wire loose connection etc.
