Missing Drivers after installing win xp pro on toshiba tecra m2 s
Trying to install missing drivers on a toshiba tecra m2 s630... missing: ethernet controller multimedia audio controller network controller pci modem unknown device video controller What should I download... where ... and how do I install them. I have another laptop to burn drivers on. just not sure what to install first and how to do it. thanks for any advice

“To locate the "Ethernet Drivers, "install, "update, and "Apply configurations.” Go to, Control Panel, select “Hardware and Sound” or select Device Manager, Next, click to open Network Adapters (Properties), perform all the steps to “reinstall Ethernet Drivers.” “Toggle through the categories. You need to connect your Laptop by Ethernet and visit Toshiba's site and install all the missing drivers from there.....if doesn't solve your problem let me kknow

You'll have to have the complete model number of your Tecra M2-???? to find the correct set of drivers.

I have often done this. Take a flash drive over to the public library. Download the drivers and same them on your flash drive. Bring them back to your machine and save them in a conveinent place i.e. My Documents/your name/drivers. Then reinstall them. In my shop we use what's called a dube device. This allows us to download using a USB port. Not everyone has access to this technolgy. The library should work fine.
