Sounds like an inverter problem. If the power supply is internal replace the capacitors coming out of the voltage regulators. These are usually 1000mf and/or 470mf. If that doesn't do the trick look up the numbers on the 8-pin chips that drive the secondary transformers on the inverter to see if they are getting the right voltages.
Good Luck!

HOW TO SET BRIGHTNESS OF THE SCREEN?

Hi,

Dear User...

You can adjust the brightness and contrast of your monitor to improve the readability of text and to make digital pictures appear more like they'll look when printed.

To improve the results when adjusting the brightness and contrast settings for your display, use Display Color Calibration. (Display Color Calibration helps you adjust these color settings and others.) For more information about calibrating your display color in Windows, see Calibrate your display.

The way you adjust brightness and contrast varies and depends on your specific display.

Brightness and contrast buttons on the front of the monitor. Some monitors have brightness and contrast controls on the front and use the standard symbols shown in the following image.

On-screen menu. You can change the brightness and contrast settings for some displays by using an on-screen menu, and then setting the brightness and contrast in the resulting menu. Many times, you can view the on-screen menu by pressing a button-possibly labeled Menu-on the front of the monitor.

Thanks....

I have a old CRT Proview monitor. It has developed a problem of exceeding display sidways, means the display from left and right side of screen goes beyond, I have adjust manually left and right to view...

Well, if the adjustment buttons don't work, then probably the control unit in the monitor is broken, or a key is stuck. If the control unit needs servicing, I doubt if it's feasible to have it repaired, given the fact that it's an old monitor and new or used nice slim LCD monitors can be purchased cheaply nowadays.

I dialed ##8378<SEND>, then clicked

Typing ##8378 Send brings up the phone test screen. When you select #2 (Field Test) and then select OEM monitor and select "enable" the phone resets and enters test mode.
In test mode you can press the volume up button to bring up the test menu. You can navigate this menu using the 1 and 3 keys on the number pad.
The most notable screen in test mode is found by pressing 3 until you reach SHDR protocol monitor will bring up the screen that displays real time reception and transmission information.
Other screens display other system information, but I caution against "playing around" with these menus too much.
To temporarily hide the test mode screen you can press the volume keys again. To take the phone out of test mode completely follow these steps:
1. dial ##test or ##8378 and press send 2. select 2 (field test) 3. scroll down to and select 10 (OEM monitor) 4. scroll down and select Monitor DISABLE 5. the phone will reset and return to normal mode.

1. Simply go to your desktop and right-click on some free space. A grey menu box will appear. Shown below.
2. Left-click on Properties near the bof the menu. A large Display Propertiebox will pop up. Shown below.
Use the little slide bar near the lower left of the Display Properties box to adjust desired screen resolution and then click Okay. Then Windows will confirm that you do want to change your screen resolution. If you press ok it will change immediately. You will have to confirm again and then your done.

Need to get screen size to show all . cant see

Things to check: Are your display settings set to "native resolution" of your screen. The native resolution is the actual dimensions (in pixels) of your flat-panel screen.
Looks like the Dell E153FP 15" has a native resolution of 1024x768. In windows, go to your control panel, in display settings, and ensure the resolution is set to 1024x768.
If that does not work, you can try the "auto adjust" feature on the monitor. On many Dell monitors, you can get this by pressing and holding the + button (on the monitor). You'll see the words "auto-adjust" appear on the screen if this works. If that doesn't work, you may be able to find auto adjust by navigating the menues in your monitor's menu, which you can get to by pressing the "menu" button on your monitor (sometimes this looks like a little rectangle icon). If it's an alignment problem, this should fix it right away.
If neither of the above work, it's probably your video card. Make sure your video card drivers are the correct ones for your card and OS, and up to date. You can also mess with display options under Control Panel > Display, under the "settings" tab, and at the bottom click the "Advanced" button, and it will bring up the advanced settings for your videocard.
Good luck!

Proview 15" screen turns white

probably failure in the LCD controller IC in the lcd controller board. that no signal was sent out to the lcd driver ic thus you could only see white display. A replacement of LCD panel is the best solution. I suggest to bring it to an authorized service center. best regards

Proview TFT has got volume option mute , need to unmute it & dont know :(

navigate with the monitor buttons to the OSD (on screen display). menu button brings up the OSD. then use volume buttons to move around. there should be a mute option or indications by symbols how to unmute the sound option. if there is not, i would guess pressing two buttons at the same time might do it.
