Check if some door switch in open.

Open the paper drawer and load on the right side of the tray.

both need service engineer

select user tools, admin , address book you should be able to see the pre programmed user codes. there also should be an option to view or print out the codes

There is no need to use dip switches to reset this error code.Providing that the thermistors are good and they have been installed correctly,here the reset procedure that is done through operation panel: press "Clear Modes" botton,then 107,then press and hold the "Stop" key for 3-5 seconds until you see the screen has changed.After that you need to turn the main power swith off and back on.The error code should be reset at this point.If it comes back,you may have a bad fusing lamp or a bad connector.

E-codes (E1-E7)are displayed im the copy counter.To display both digits of the E code press the Enter key.When service call E5 conditions occur,they cannot be cleared by turning OFF/ON the main switch for safety reasons.Ehe following procedure must be performed to clear these service call condition:
Turn ON the main switch.
Turn DIP switch 101-1 ON and OFF.
Turn the main switch OFF and ON.
Code E 52 Fusing lamp warm up error.Causes:thermistor open,fusing lamp open,therofuse open,power supply/ac drive board defective.
Code 53 Fusing lamp overheat.Causes:thermistor short,power supply defective,main board defective.
Code 55 Fusing thermistor open.Causes:thermistor open,main board defective,power supply/ac drive board defective.

you need to install printer on computer as network printer from the supplied CD.

Are you sure about the model number? I believe you may mean MP2500? Regardless, sounds like an NVRam Problem. This unit is what controls the electronic counter, as well as most of system settings. This will require a service technician from a dealer with connections to RICOH.
