Hi,

There's a switch on the rear, put this in bridge mode.
Connect you speaker (not under 4 Ohm) on the two red outputs.
Here's your manual.

Good luck,

turn channel 2 volume down, connect 4 ohm minimum load to the two red binding posts of ch1 and ch2. use channel 1 input to drive the amplifier. dont gorget mx1500a is pin 3 positiveso speakers would be reverse polarity if you are using a diffrent amplifier to drive the other speakers.

The entire heatsink and all the output transistors are missing from my qsc MX 1500a amplifier, I need to know the transistors and which is N P N and which is PNP and information of which goes where

You have a high power amplifier and the work you propose leaves no room for either error or compromise. If, as you suppose, the output is by complementary pair, the transistors must be matched pairs providing equal gain characteristics.

Unless you have seen inside a complete amplifier of the type you are only guessing at the output stage(s) that could be by module or a multiple transistor output. There also might be other driver stage(s) sharing the same heat sink.

The least you will need is a service manual and an internet search produced a number of results on the below link.

How do you connect wiring to bridge an adcom gfa 5300?

The manual does not specify a bridging option.

http://www.audioreview.com/cat/amplification/amplifiers/adcom/gfa-5300/prd_116265_1583crx.aspx

"Weaknesses:
Not bridgable."

Generally an amp that IS bridgeable uses the positive speaker terminals and some switching method to tell the unit to run as bridged. This is NOT a recommendation to try it on the 5300.

Question similar to ...connect to home theater... What kind of fan noise do these amps (QSC MX 1500a) have if using in a home theater or stereo system in the typical room?

Hi
I work with these amplifiers every day and i can tell you that they not made with quietness in mind.
They are mainly used in a club/disco environment and often mounted in a equipment rack hidden in a closet. Excellent/tough amplifiers if you want power and clean sound ,but
You may find their noise level uncomfortable in a living room.
Hope this help Merry Christmas

On lucent amps you sometimes have to bridge two terminals together to make it work. i need to know what two need to be bridged.

I'm not sure if Lucent has a special bridging procedure, but on most if not all other amps, when you bridge you DON'T connect two terminals together. What you do is instead of using the plus and minus terminals on one channel to one speaker and the other +/- terminals to the other speaker, you will instead use the plus (+) terminal from one channel and the minus (-) terminal from the other channel to drive one speaker and the remaining + and - terminals remain unconnected. Be sure you use the + and - terminals that are marked for bridging. Please note, that when you bridge that your speaker load DOUBLES to EACH channel. In other words, what your amp saw as a 4 ohm speaker going to one channel alone, it now sees as a 2 ohm speaker on each channel when bridged. Be sure you know what you are doing before you bridge and fry your amp. In my experience, if after bridging your amp works fine for about a month and then fries then you bridged wrong and ended up with the wrong speaker load on each of the bridged channels. Be careful. Amps cost a lot to repair. Good luck.

Jbl gto 3501 amp

It's a mono amp. There's no bridging with this amp.

The two pairs of speaker terminals are connected together internally. The second set of terminals is for convenience.
