Hi. This does sound like a Java error. Since the Harmony software is a Java application, you need to have the Java run-time installed on your computer in order for it to work. I suggest visiting http://www.Java.com to install the latest version of Java on your computer. It's completely free.
Once you have Java installed, you can download and install the Harmony software again. This can be done at http://Logitech.com/myharmony.
Hope this helps.
I installed PrintMaster Platinum 2011 and it first said that I didn't have the correct version of Java for my Mac. I downloaded the required version and was able to proceed with the installation. Did the error happen to say what version of Java is required? If so, going to the Java website and getting the newest update for Windows XP would probably allow you to go ahead and install PrintMaster.
How can you reinstall and install the java software if it does'nt exist in your system, right? Read the information below which I researched for you. This addresses you in your problem. Don't forget to rate me..:-) Thanks.. Error: 25099 during Java installation
This article applies to:
Platform(s): Windows 2000 , Windows XP , Vista , Windows 2003
Browser(s): All Browsers
Java version(s): 6.0 , 6u10+
SYMPTOMS
While Java installation is in progress, a message box with the following error is displayed:
Error 25099. Unzipping core files failed.
CAUSE
The actual root cause of this issue is still under investigation. Error 25099 indicates that the Java installation process has failed.
WORKAROUND
Step 1 : Completely delete content of the following directory: C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\ (or alternate directory if you chose a non-default install location)
Step 2 : If Step 1 has permission issues due to files being locked or in use, restart your system
Step 3 : Now, completely delete content of the following directory: C:\Program Files\Java\jre6\
As i understand you receive an error when you run the installed program.
Please uninstall the complete downloaded software and reboot the PC. Then download the latest Java JRE (Java Runtime Environment (JRE) 6 Update 7) to run all Java programs from the link given below, http://java.sun.com/javase/downloads/index.jsp
Once you have installed the Java JRE, again install the program and test if it works.
Plug ins' are bits of extra software that are attached to browsers and other forms of software.
If you mean AOL then the software has not loaded properly and will require a re install, which is also the same problem as java script.
Make sure you have th latest java installed first.
