You may have a bad, small signal board. Once in a while you may get a picture back....if the TV has been unplugged and plugged in after a few days.

Eventually the TV will be completely dead. Ask your nearby TV tech to fix this!

Phillips projection tv hd connected approx 6 years old. Picture gets smaller suddenly on some channels on its own... like normal is suddenly letterbox or smaller. On some stations picture is jumpy or...

The tv setting may be on AUTO. This can be changed at any time to wide screen, panorama, etc. I prefer panorama

possible mother board issues, alot of times they get very hot and will fry out. have you also tried the input button? they will sit on another input if a kid gets ahold of it or someone has changed it to play a video game or dvd.
