First thing i would say to try would be to unplug it from computer and power for a good 10 minutes, while unplugged open up the scanner cover and make sure that there is not anything blocking paths and also make sure there is not like a flood of ink in their.

Your MFC has reached its limit of cleanings. The ink absorder box is full and needs to be replaced. Check the brother website for an authorized service center in your area.

Unable to clean usually means the waste ink tank is full, you'll need it replaced by a shop so they can reset the counter as well.
