Remote control code

We have a Coby TV/DVD 2050. Remote for it is broken. Have RCA universal remote but cannot find code to program it to Coby TV. Help anyone? Cannot seem to get to right website for this info! Getting frustrated. Thanks.

I HAVE A COBY TV AND MY REMOTE IS BROKEN, BUT I HAVE A RCA UNIVERSAL REMOTE AND I CANT FIND THE CODE FOR IT.DO U THINK U CAN SOLVE THIS PROMBLEM FOR ME?

coby tv does not work with the cable universal remote -solution from my perspective DO NOT BUY COBY.

We do not have Universal remote control codes for our units. Our units were designed to work with the supplied remote control. This decision was base on, universal remote control does NOT give the user full access to every feature on the DVD player (Setup Menu, P.Scan, NTSC/Pal..etc)

I do not think, RCA remote had pre-programed codes for Coby. anyway, try.
Visit this site 'Electro-help" for more details. Googel for it. It iw an electronic equipments service help blog site. Pull out older posts there. Sometimes, you may get information to get a suitable remote control to your TV.

I need a code # to program my Universal RCA remote for my Prima TV and my DVD player

I own a One-for-All universal remote, and my booklet says the setup code for a Prima TV ( without a built-in DVD or VCR) is one of the following numbers: 0761, 0783, 0815, 0817. I can not guarantee these numbers will work with your remote, but it is worth a try.
I assume your DVD has been attached separately, and not built into the TV. In some cases, you might not need an additional setup code. Once the TV has been turned on, you simply push the DVD button on your remote, to activate the DVD. The instructions which came with your remote and your DVD should provide you with more details. If the instructions indicate that an additional DVD setup code is required, then please respond by telling me the brand name of your DVD.
