How do i clean the rollers on my printer?

Paper Tray Rollers Step 1 Turn off and unplug your HP printer. Pull out your printer's paper tray and locate the printer rollers on the paper tray. Each roller is gray or black, and they are made of rubber. Remove the rollers from the tray.
On HP inkjet printers, the printer roller is not on the paper tray; it is on the area inside of the printer where the paper tray slides into the unit. Remove the paper tray and sit your HP inkjet printer upright, so the paper tray area is facing upward, and then look for the printer roller.
Step 2
Pour 1 tbsp. of isopropyl alcohol or clean water onto a lint-free cloth and scrub the paper or internal tray rollers with the cloth. Fold the cloth in half and repeat the cleaning process until the rollers are free of dust and debris.

Step 3
Wipe the rollers with a dry, lint-free cloth to remove any remaining dust or debris. Let the rollers dry completely before sliding the paper tray back into your printer.
Internal Pickup Roller - Laser Printers Only Step 1 Turn off and unplug your HP printer. Open your printer's front door and pull the printer's toner cartridge toward you to remove it from the printer.
Step 2
Locate your printer's internal pickup roller. The roller is gray or black, and it is made of rubber. Lift the roller upward, towards the front of your printer. Pull the roller gently out of the printer and lay it on a clean surface, such as a desk or workbench.
Step 3
Pour 1 tbsp. of isopropyl alcohol or clean water onto a lint-free cloth and scrub the pickup roller with the cloth. Fold the cloth in half and repeat the cleaning process until the roller is free of dust and debris.
Step 4
Wipe the roller with a dry, lint-free cloth to remove any remaining dust or debris. Let the roller dry completely before snapping the pickup roller back into place inside of your HP printer. Reinstall the toner cartridge and close your printer's door.

How do you replace the feed roller on a fujitsu 4097 scanner

Hi Ranji,
Thank you for contacting Fixya.
The life span of the Pick roller is about 200,000 sheets or one year. Use Abrasion counter on the operator panel to estimate when the Pick rollers need replacement. The life span may be decreased by as much as half when carbonless sheets are frequently read. To replace Pick Rollers, please follow the steps provided below:
a. Remove Guide AASY. b. To remove the Pick rollers, turn the stopper counterclockwise. c. To remove the Pick roller 1, move the Pick roller 1 toward the left then lift it. d. Right after removing the Pick roller 1, remove the Pick roller 2 with the same way. e. To attach the new Pick rollers, place the Pick roller 1 from right above the groove for the Pick roller 1. Put the shaft of the Pick roller 1 into the groove. Then, slide the Pick roller 1 toward the right side. A Pick roller 1 has the groove in its rubber. Make sure that the bushing is securely fixed to the grooves. f. Attach the Pick roller 2, then slide the Pick roller 2 to the right. Make sure that the bushing is securely fixed to the grooves. g. Turn the stopper clockwise to secure the Pick rollers.
Hope the above information is helpful.
regards,

Replace the tray 2 pickup roller assembly

The tray two pickup roller is a roller in the front of the tray. Remove tray 2 and place it on a level work surface. Locate and open the cover that is
next to the roller in tray 2.
Pinch the blue latch that is on the left side of the roller. Slide the roller off of the shaft.
Then you can slide the new roller back in.
CAUTION When you install this roller, make sure that it locks into place. Verify that the
roller is correctly oriented, and that the round, black spacer next to the roller is correctly
positioned against the locking pin on the shaft.

If I could be of further assistance, let me know. If this helps or solves the issue, please rate it.
Thanks, Joe

Ink rollers

Unless the ink roller that you installed was dried out, usually, the replacement rollers just snap in place and are good to go. Check to make sure there is ink on the roller by either pulling the ink roller out again, and touching it with your finger. If no ink on your finger, you might have received a dried out replacement roller. Also the roller should be somewhat like a sponge. If you push against the sponge and it doesnt spring back and it stays indented, then the roller might also be bad. If you happen to have a bottle of ink for an ink pad, you can try soaking the roller with the ink so the roller is wet, (but not DRIPPING WET) and try it again in the calculator. IF you get some image for a little while, then I would say try a new fresh ink roller.
Hope this helps.

Rollers are leaving black smudges on my checks

Are you positive that this is a 'roller' problem.  Black smudges usually indicate a drum problem (your toner cartridge).  If you pull it out, you'll see a flap that should move back and forth.  If you move that flap, you'll see a shiny cylendar.  That's the drum.  See if you can see any marks on it (don't touch it with your hands.)

The problem is, it's hard to tell whether or not it's the drum just by looking.  Your best bet is to see if replacing the cartridge takes care of the problem.

Phaser 6250 transfer roller

Hi clwest: I hope that this will help you.

Transfer Roller is at End of Life
■ Print the Supplies Usage page to verify the remaining life and Transfer
Roller install date.
■ Cycle printer power.
■ If the problem persists, follow the procedure below
Note
Look at the clear plastic window on the Transfer Roller. If toner is present in the
center of the window the Transfer Roller is at end of life and needs to be
replaced. If no toner is visible, try cleaning the CTD (ADC) Sensor.
The “Transfer Roller is at End of Life” is a warning. “Replace Transfer Roller” is
a hard stop.
