Frigidaire stand alone Refrigerator won't cool Fans and Compressor work

I have a Frigidaire stand alone refrigerator model PLRU1777DS all of a sudden it stopped cooling. I pulled it out and made sure the coils and fan were clean.

Fan by coils underneath works fine also when I turn the inside temp control it will come on both fans inside and by coil run fine. Compressor comes after about 2 min
and runs run but will not cool the coil inside the fridge at all.Compress gets a little warm. but not real hot.
Thank you in advance
Tom.

It is just a refrig no freezer. I have removed all the shelves and back panel When I turned it on the coil inside the refrig doesn't get cold.
I put my hand on the compressor and it seems to cycle on.

    Thanks
    Tom

This model is just a full size refrigerator only. It does not have a freezer. It doesn't seem to cool at all.but compressor and both fans are working.
    Thanks

There is no coil in the refrig section......What does the coil in the freezer section look like you could have a defrost problem.. is it iced up?? this will let the freezer still work but block the airflow into the refrig section..ck that and let me know

you say it stopped cooling in both sections (refrig and Freezer) ??

Ended up having a freon leak in tubing around door. Luckly the warranty was 5 years in sealed system. New one was FREE.

When you removed the back panel inside refrig was there any sign of cooling, perhaps only top 1 pass of the coil was frosted, or completly warm no signd of frost at all?

My refrigerator kicks on and off but will not cool below 48 degrees

It may be kicking off on low gas, or the cap tubes or the evaporator valve is malfunctioning. A professional technician will have to check it out.

Turn the timer slowly clockwise until the compressor and fans stop. Leave the timer alone in that position that turned the compressor and fans off for up to 35 minutes. In the first few minutes after the timer turned fans and compressor off you should be getting defrost. If timer comes on by itself and you have defrost results the timer and defrost heater are good. If the timer does not turn the refrigerator back on but the defrost took place then replace the timer. Every different refrigerator or freezer has a different amount of time on for cooling and time off for defrost so it is important to know what the model number is to answer the part number and time off/on ratio. What is the model number of the refrigerator that the timer is on? Sea Breeze

Danby DPR2262W propane refrigerator stopped cooling

OK-to make this short-you either have a boiler tube blockage or Hydrogen diffusion. If your cooling unit quit suddenly, you more than likely have a boiler tube blockage due to precipitation of Sodium Chromate. If your cooling unit gradually quit working it's Hydrogen diffusion. This process is not easy to understand, and I won't bother you with the details as to why.By the way, burping is a myth,it dosen't work.If there is a blockage in your cooling unit turning your refrigerator upside down won't dislodge it.Danby dosen't make stand alone Propane refrigerators anymore, and since the cooling unit is foamed into the box,it's a throw away refrigerator. You will have to get a Servel RGE 400 made by Dometic. It's the same size as the Danby and I have those for a very good price.Go to: www.marvinspropanerefrigerators.com

My frig is not keeping things cold

Suggest you check the condenser grill in the compressor compartment. If that is dirty or the compressor fan is not operating then your system can not dissapate the heat build up. Which means the unit will not get cold enough even if the compressor is active.

Not cooling enough, compressor is running well, temperature is set at highest temp and temperature in empty refrigerator is 48 degrees. What can be the problem?

AIR FLOW IS THE PROBLEM. THERE IS A DEFROST PROBLEM BLOCKING THE AIR FLOW. OR THE FAN IS NOT WORKING. IF THERE IS FROST ON THE LOWER BACK WALL INSIDE YOU HAVE A DEFROST PROBLEM. REMOVE PANEL AND DEFROST AND CALL FOR SERVICE.

If the compressor is not shutting off it is low on freon.
