JVC HD-52Z575 My tv displays a reverse blue image all the time on screen. Is this an expensive repair?

I have the same blue shadow with reverse image on my JVC HD-52Z575 Did you see what the problem on yours finally was?

Ur convergence is dead.Must know how to solders?Must replaced 2 convergence ICS and some or all it resistors.Tries websites Tv repair World.com,Tvrepairkits.com to buy a convergence to repair it ur self.The shop will cost u $300 for parts and labors.

The solution is an easy fix. Ignore anyone telling you to take it to a service center or to replace the convergence driver. You need to access the service menu on your television by using your remote control:

DRIVE CONVERGENCE Adjustment (Using remote control)

•Use the inner RGB box pattern.

(1)Set the [SLEEP TIMER] key to 0 min.

(2)Press the [DISPLAY] key and the [VIDEO STATUS]key simultaneously.

(3)Press the [9] key to display the RGB box pattern.

(4)Select the R mode by pressing the [DISPLAY] key.

(5)Adjust the R mode to setting as same as G mode bypressing the [CH ]+ / [CH -] key.

(6)Select the B mode pressing by the [DISPLAY] key.

(7)Adjust the B mode to setting as same as G mode bypressing the [VOL] - / [VOL +] key.

(8)Check to see that the cross pattern is white. If thecross pattern is not white, readjust (5) to (6).

That's it, your color is now corrected. Yes, I know...your welcome.

sounds like a covergence problem, cost 350 to 450

You will need to have a service center come out to try to reset the TV using the reset jig. A JVC authorized service center will be the only ones that will have access to and training to use this jig. It is a good chance reseting it fix the color problem but it could also be something more serious.

On your blue tube there is a crt broad that may have a bad capacitor 4.7uf 250 volts most likely it can be leaky not able to hold correct charge also it might have video ic on same broard breaking down, this will cause your problem unplug crt broad from bottom neck of tube turn set on see if problem goes away if so then it means you have problem with crt broad or it could be your tube.Hope this helps you out!
