Question about SanDisk Sansa e250 MP3 Player

1 Answer

Freezing One day when listening to my SanDisk player, it just froze. If you turn it on it starts up then the screen just fades away and it starts over until the battery dies. Please give me a solution because I really miss listening to my music.

Mine "freezes" too. I usually take the battery out of the back and put it back in and it will reset without deleting any of the music or pictures.

I had the excact same thing just turn it on and let the battery run all the way down, then all you have to do is charge it. If this does not work make sure you are running the battery all the way down. Trust me this works.

My Screen fades away!!

I might know how to finish that problem

I think you might have to go to settings in the sansa and go to backlight. Then choose On.

If this isn't what i'm talking about, try looking for another person that helps.
Hope i helped!

I felt like an idiot when I couldn't fix this problem. Take out the battery and put it back in.

When turning on screen fades away then restarts automatically

Try this: disconnect the player from the computer, turn it off, hold in the volume + button, and reconnect the player to the computer while holding the volume + button in. Keep holding the volume + button for an additional 5-50 seconds. Windows should eventually go into recovery mode and revive the player- it will pop up a window that says Found New Hardware Wizard.

Black screen no scroll light ????

I suggest that you hold down the power button for 15 seconds. It will reset it.
