Sounds like your battery shorted out. It will look like it's charging ok but when power is hit it just does a quick flash. You can try a friends same battery and if thats not it you might have to flash the phone to bring it back.

My nextbook 8 has a red flashing light and wont power on even after charging

Try taking out the battery and try turning it on with it plugged in. If it works, you need a new battery.

Gateway laptop i push power button it wont boot up but leds in front flash 4 times

Try holding down the power button instead of just pushing it. I had this problem with my HP dv7 and holding the power button down for around 5 seconds worked for me. Also make sure that its plugged in to a power source.

Dell 540s wont turn on when i push the power button lightlights up then goes back off light on back then turns off fans start to turn on then goes off computer does not turn on.after this when you push...

generally a no post, since the system will not stay on, you simplify the system configuration by removing all external connections except power, then see if the system will stay on. If it does, add items back one at a time till you ID the issue.
If no change with external items disconnected, then issue is internal. remove any expansion cards and try again, if issue resolved, the add one at a time to isolate fault. If still no go, try ram modules individually. if still no go, disconnect power to all drives, see if system will stay running with drives disconnected. if still no go, then it is either the power supply or the motherboard. replace the power supply 1st since it is cheapest to replace

Hello,

Please plug also the power cord to the power source then wait for 10 - 20 minutes to charge the battery of your laptop then after the said time given above please turn on the laptop and see if your laptop is working now. Else if it is not then try to contact computer technician and let that person check the problem of your laptop Most of the problem causes of software and hardware.

My mp3 player wont work

ok! easy solution for you^^ 1) Make sure your Zen is powered OFF. if the blue light is on and won't turn off, here's what you do: set the hold button at the top of the player to the ORANGE position, then hold your power button for 3 seconds. the keypad will flash and your player will power down. 2) push in the reset button with a pin or other fine implement. the reset button is located on the bottom of the unit, right next to the connector. your player should power up as normal now. charge it fully! your computer should be able to read it during it's charge as long as you leave it powered on^^ I hope this helps you^^
