Hi,
my monitor stays white - black-icon.gif This icon indicates the BRIGHTNESS control, more properly called BLACK LEVEL. It adds or subtracts an offset, or bias, into the red, green, and blue signals. This control should be adjusted so that black picture content displays as true black on your monitor. Misadjustment of this control is the most common problem of poor quality picture reproduction on computer monitors, video monitors, and television sets. Later in this document, I will explain how to set this control properly. The setting is somewhat dependent upon ambient light. Modern display equipment is sufficiently stable that frequent adjustment is unnecessary.

picture-icon.gif This icon indicates the CONTRAST control, preferably called PICTURE. It applies a scale factor (gain) to the red, green, and blue signals. It affects the luminance (proportional to intensity) that is reproduced for a full white input signal. Once BRIGHTNESS is set correctly, CONTRAST should be set for comfortable viewing brightness.

The gamma can be controlled through Video Card utility which can usually be accessed by going to display properties.

Depending on your video card software you may be able to right click your desktop, select properties, select settings tab and then choose advanced, towards the bottom. In there you may find a tab called Monitor and under that tab you may or may not (depending on your video card software) be able to adjust your color correction settings(gamma & brightness & contrast).

. Right click on the desktop and then select Properties

2. Click on the Settings tab and then click on the Advanced button.

3. Click on the Color Correction tab and you will see settings for Brightness, Contrast, and Gamma

Why did my computer monitor stop showing an image?

Disconnect it from computer and power. wait 15 minutes and plug only the power back in, press the power on button. The monitor may display a message that there is no signal or something like that. If that happens the problem is either the cable or the computer. If you get no message then look for the menu button and press it to see if any thing appears. If not find the manual on line and read it. Many times monitors get over-driven by computers to the point that they can't display OR they self destruct.

OR

Another way is to just unplug everything computer and monitor for 15 minutes. Plug in monitor first then plug in computer and press the power button, the display should display the booting information if the cable is good and the monitor is good.

My hp 1502 lcd monitor only shows a white screen

If you don't use an identical monitors, then they may not work if your video card can not handle them. The "check video cable" it means the monitor does not get a signal, and it does not mean that the monitor is a problematic monitor. You can test this monitor as a single monitor (and try to connect it using first video port, and then move it to the second video port).

PL2010m displays two colors stays on just blue and white

Sorry, but this sounds like a controller issue. Are you able to open the monitor's menu? If yes, try the monitor on another computer with other cables, if that doesn't help its a internal problem. The only thing you could try yourself is opening it up and reseat all of the cables. If that doesn't help, you should contact a professional or consider replacing the unit.

Sylvania (proview) cl2072b flat panel monitor

Well the first and second paragraphs make me say the Inverter/power board must be replaced.

A white display typically means either your display cable (in your monitor) is loose or logic board is dead.

Either one of these things typically mean take it in for an estimate to repair, and if it's too much, buy a new one.
With your luck I think I might switch to big cheap CRT.
